MO Chocolate<\/a>, gevestigd in Brussel en Gembloux, is een artisanaal bedrijf dat kleine stukjes bonenchocolade maakt<\/strong>, chunks genaamd.<\/p>\n

In 2024 had ik het grote geluk om hun atelier in Anderlecht te bezoeken. Het is een artisanaal kwaliteitsbedrijf op mensenmaat, met gepassioneerde en vriendelijke mensen.<\/p>\n

Waarom kozen we voor stukjes 80% bean to bar uit Nicaragua?<\/strong> Omdat we een blinde smaaktest hebben uitgevoerd met leden en vrienden van onze familie. En van de 5 soorten chocolade van 3 verschillende origines koos de overgrote meerderheid van de testers voor de 80% pure chocoladebrokken uit Nicaragua. Zelfs kinderen van 6 tot 13 jaar konden hun smaakpapillen niet geloven!<\/p>\n

Mo Chocolate’s 80% pure chocolade uit Nicaragua<\/strong> is gewoon onvergelijkbaar met de chocolade die je in de supermarkt vindt. Als ik deze 80% pure chocolade in mijn eigen woorden zou moeten beschrijven, zou ik zeggen dat hij zacht en krachtig tegelijk is, zonder bittere of scherpe nasmaak. Een moment van puur geluk voor liefhebbers van pure chocolade.<\/p>\n

En hoe zit het dan met cadmium? Als u zich zorgen maakt over het cadmiumgehalte, dan is het goed om te weten dat we Nao (MO Chocolate) hebben gevraagd om ons de meest recente meetresultaten van het cadmiumgehalte in hun chocolade te verstrekken. En… dat ligt ruim onder de door de Europese Unie toegestane grenswaarde. Moeten we ons dan zorgen maken over cadmium in chocolade? Het cadmiumgehalte in de biologische 80% bean-to-bar-chocolade bedraagt 0,11 mg\/kg, wat 7 x lager is dan de Europese grenswaarde.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hij wordt gemaakt van Nicaragua’s eigen biologische en fairtrade Trinitario (SJM San Pedro) bonen van de Flor de Pancasan co\u00f6peratie.
